There are grave dangers of looking at the sun when it's deeply eclipsed like that (a glance is fine) but because it's brightness is greatly reduced many people think is ok to stare at it and permanent eye damage or blindness is the result. Eclipse glasses are the only way to look at a solar eclipse safely when it's NOT total'

w3w:clench.repeating.playbook Please note: this is a change to the original date due to the Manx Grand Prix Join Jenette, Woodland Engagement Officer at Manx Wildlife Trust, for a guided walk exploring woodland restoration on the Isle of Man. Starting at Milntown, the walk will take you through Crossags Fields, where Manx Wildlife Trust is creating a new woodland designed to benefit both people and wildlife. Jenette will explain how the fields are being planted with native woodland, including spaces for community use such as a community orchard. The project also aims to improve biodiversity and encourage local wildlife. The route will then continue into Hairpin Woodland Park, where you’ll learn about ongoing restoration work to expand and reconnect the Isle of Man’s temperate rainforest, improving the woodland’s resilience, biodiversity, and long-term health. From there, we’ll climb to Albert Tower to enjoy panoramic views across the north of the Island before […]
