** Currently only 4 places left on the Longer Walks Holiday** We are very excited to announce the opportunity for MFCG members to participate in a fully organised walking holiday in the beautiful county of Northumberland in May 2022. Two departure dates are planned; one offering a series of longer day walks, the other offering a programme of shorter walks. The holidays include the use of a private minibus throughout the holiday with local pick up and drop off, five nights B&B in Alnwick and four guided walks. We are delighted to announce this year's Winter Talks Programme. Sadly last years programme was severely disrupted by Coronavirus restrictions but we hope that this winter the programme will go ahead uninterrupted. Please find details of all the talks below. Wednesday 10th November 2021 7pm "19th Century Circus on the Isle of Man" This promises to be an informative and humorous illustrated talk by the renowned local author Sue King. You will be amazed at what you learn! Wednesday 12th January 2022 7pm 'The Life of Bryan' Postponed from last year, this talk will be a lighthearted mystery coach trip through the history of the Bryan family (Edward Bryan Removals) and the Isle of Man from the mid 1700s to the present day. Wednesday 9th February 2022 7pm 'The Ayres Gravel Pits Bird Sactuary' Also postponed from the previous winter programme, this will be an illustrated talk by the Director of Manx Birdlife, Neil Morris on
